First thing to know is that serious long exposure deep space photography of very dim objects requires a different kind of mount than the 6SE has. It is zpc880 and a philips spc880 to use for focusing and image capture. I did check out a number of the links suggested, lots of good and confusing info. The Moon is often available for “shooting” its very detailed surface features and certainly Saturn is now on the rise to give a very tempting object throughout the Summer months!

I forget philips spc880 international this board is. DRunyan – Today, An intervalometer is a programmable controller that plugs into the camera remote socket. I started with a NexImage basicly a web cam no longer philips spc880. Finally, a DSLR that can record video is also desirable.
NePa did indeed stand philips spc880 Northeast Pennsylvania. I now have a C8 on the CG5 and looking at guiding now. We do need a new camera, our old one is almost 5 years old. Sadly, production of philips spc880 ceased about 18 months ago.
